LOUISE TARGETT, Managing Director & Trainer

Louise Targett is known for turning ordinary businesses into something great.

Since 1988, Louise has worked with over 3000 businesses including many from the top 150 Australian Companies. Her work is varied and includes the design, customisation and delivery of business management and people management modules, competency-based alignment and nationally recognised qualifications.

Her focus is in tracking KPIs via measurable standards and strategies in sales and service, visual merchandising, store branding/identity and marketing, product width and depth, business planning and people management issues.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Target Training has national accreditation with the Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board, offering a combination of nationally recognised and customised business development programs. Louise has created a system of “easy learning” which produces the education, strategies, and momentum for measurable and lasting business development, growth and change.

Louise has worked with companies like Caltex Australia, Sigma/Amcal Pharmacies, Mirvac, Rezmed, Coles Myer and Queensland Investment Corporation. As the author of many retail and frontline management publications and an award-winning speaker, Louise is regularly invited by multi-national companies to address business development and marketing issues. She has been keynote speaker on many occasions for retail group annual conferences and chamber of commerce forums.

Louise holds a Master of Education, a Graduate Certificate in SC Marketing, Diploma in Frontline Management, Diploma in Retail Management, Diploma in Training & Assessment Systems and Diploma in Strategic Management.

 

Sarah Hunziker, Training Administrator

Sarah has 18 years experience in sales, marketing and promotions and administrative responsibilities at a state and national level.  Her experience includes event management, database management and development of marketing and promotional materials.  Writing briefs, managing suppliers and quality control were key areas of responsibility.

Sarah joined Target Training in March 2015 and is primarily responsible for entering and managing student data, reporting to the state bodies and producing qualifications. Her role also includes the maintenance of confidential student records, quality checking training and assessment resources, and share file management with off site offices.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and is based in our Sydney head office.

VICTORIA HOWARD, Prgram Facilitator

Victoria Howard, Program Facilitator

Victoria has been a hands-on trainer for the past 18 years. After winning numerous awards for retail sales with Clinique cosmetics she moved into the training arena and has held roles from NSW Training Manager to Area Manager and Territory Trainer for companies such as Pharm-A-Care, Lancome, Sanctum, Jurlique and Nutrimetics.

For the past 3 years Victoria has specifically trained Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate IV in Business and various beauty industry courses.

Victoria has achieved her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104), Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management), Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate in Small Business Management and various beauty industry qualifications.

Victoria is based in Sydney.

Judith Sheridan, Program Facilitator

Judith is a highly experienced management and vocational trainer, with specialisation in people management and performance measurement.  Owning and operating her own successful small business for many years, she now acts as a freelance Consultant/Trainer to a range of clients.  Who has worked with a cross-sector of organisations such as; Amcor, Kellogs/Day Dawn, Colgate Palmolive, Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council, Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland and Queensland Health. Judith’s specialisation is Business Management training.

Matthew Spokes, Program Facilitator

Matthew is a down-to-earth, practical and very likable program facilitator. He is both well studied and experienced who gives 100% commitment every time.

Over the past six years Matt has established and operated training organisations including staff employment, coaching / mentoring and trainer / assessor responsibilities. Matt can align himself with any organisation while his strength lies within people relations and communication skills.

He has achieved a Diploma of Training and Assessment, Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) and a Craftsman's Certificate in Carpentry.

Matt is based in Sydney, NSW.

Gary Tremolada, Program Facilitator

Gary commenced his retail career working for Venture stores back in the eighties when his focus was on small format store manager and floor manager responsibilities. As a result his strength as a hands-on manager was developed from the outset.

Some years later Gary moved into training and staff development roles within commercial environments such as the Australian Taxation Office, Telstra and Teletech International.

His real passion lies in the area of driving the KPI's of the business via sales training and setting of targets. Gary believes that a better, stronger, faster environment breeds innovation and therefore impacts on both the organisation's bottom line and the individual's performance goals.

Gary has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Frontline Management, Certificate III in Retail, Certificate III in Hospitality and currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce.

NICK MILLS, Program Facilitator

Nick Mills, Program Facilitator

Nick Mills is a dynamic learning development professional with many years experience in doing so. His specialist area is leadership experience at an operational level as he continually strives to help others be their best. Nick is a performance coach and sales training specialist.

Nick has worked with companies such as Avis / Budget and Thrifty car rentals, Hutchison Telecoms and Flexirent Capital. Nick has had first hand experience at driving e-learning projects for companies such as Harvey Norman.

Nick has a Master of Education, Diploma of Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Susan McHugh, Program Facilitator

Susan McHugh, Program Facilitator

Susan has experience in some of Australia's most recognised and respect retail chains delivering staff training programs, opening new locations and setting up retail training for these new stores. Such stores include Woolworths, Big W and David Jones. Along with Susan's extensive retail knowledge her success with training is her easy nature and her excellent communication skills. She handles a diverse range of students with ease and professionalism.

Currently Susan is working as a trainer with Target Training doing Certificate IV in Business Sales and also continues teaching within NSW TAFE. Her qualifications include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Business, and Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

Susan is based in the beautiful central coast just north of Sydney.

Colleen Dyer

Colleen Dyer

Colleen's experience lies in conducting training and motivational customer service programs for staff and management teams. Not only well qualified as a trainer but Colleen has the hands-on retail management experience to ensure her knowledge is thorough and practical. She has 35+ years in fashion retail with organisations such as Stiletto Fashion Group and Cassells Fashion where she has led teams in management, training, coaching , and mentoring of staff for desired business KPI's.

Currently Colleen primarily trains in the retail area achieving consistently high attendance and pass rates (averaging 97%) for her training groups which is achieved through her passion for motivating teams by assessing and training to their individual needs for realisation of their full potential within the group.

Colleen has achieved her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) and Diploma of Retail Management. She is actively maintaining her studies by completing her Diploma of Business.

Colleen is based in south-east Queensland.

Sam Donato

Sam Donato

Sam has well over 20 years experience in leadership, management and business development. Sam brings his extensive knowledge to the forefront to help people grow both personally and professional by helping them to respond more positively to the challenges of today's workforce.

He commenced his career working hands on in the retail industry for employers such as David Jones and Myer for an 18 year period. Sam went on to operate his own retail store in the homewares industry for a 4 year period. Since 2005 Sam has been training and assessing predominantly in Certificate III, IV and Diploma level qualifications. Sam's specialty is Business Management, retail operations, and sales training.

Sam has achieved a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management).

Sam is based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Bill Harper, Program Facilitator

Bill has been in retail management for over 30 years, was a very successful franchisee at BP Blacktown for 8 years. Store manager for Coles & Franklins and has worked with other major retailers. He has been CEO for a non- profit organisation Australia wide and is now a very welcome addition to the training contingent with Target Training.

Bill has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Retail Management, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Certificate IV in Pastoral Care and a Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety. It is not just Bill?s experience and education, but his enthusiastic communication with students at all levels that make him an ideal and very sort after trainer.

Bill is based in Western Sydney but travels throughout NSW to train students.

Stephanie Crisp, Program Facilitator

Stephanie comes with 15 years experience as a trainer in VET. Specifically Business, Retail and Customer Service acumens are Stephanie's strengths.

Prior to training, Stephanie worked in the retail industry in the jewellery and fashion and managing stores for major chains. She could be described as friendly, energetic and passionate in her delivery.

Lawrence Gibbs – Program Facilitator

Lawrence worked in the corporate world for 25 years within the banking, finance and telecommunications sectors. Since 2007 Lawrence has been working in the adult education industry as a trainer, life coach and mentor. He has a strong background in instructional design and computer system programs. Lawrence’s makes an ideal trainer in areas of finance, business and management qualifications. The personal and professional support he provides his learners is second to none, with nurturing skills to assist the learner through the learning and change processes required.

Kim Growden, Program Facilitator

Kim is the Licensee of Hampshire Cider House, as well as a Trainer and Assessor for Target Training. Kim brings to the table 20 + years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry and is our expert having worked both overseas and locally. Opening and managing Hudson Coffee stores in Sydney to overseeing large hotels and staff in Adelaide. Kim is the licensee and General Manager of the Hampshire Cider House, the pinnacle centre of this unique program. Kim also specialises in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming. Her qualifications are:

Kim is based in Adelaide.

 

Dianne Pepicelli, Program Facilitator

Dianne is a business owner, mentor, and Operations Manager for the Hampshire Cider House in Adelaide. She has achieved her:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma of Management
  • Diploma of Business
  • Certificate III in Hospitality

Dianne comes with a wealth of experience in business and has operated and managed retail stores for one of Australia’s biggest and successful retailers and later her own retail store.  Dianne has won awards for her success in business and today still operates an online retail store – Harriett’s.  Dianne’s passion and commitment to the program and participants is breath taking.  Dianne also offers 1 on 1 life changing mentoring with participants which has been mentioned as being “one of the best parts of the course.”
