LOUISE TARGETT, Managing Director & Trainer

Louise Targett is known for turning ordinary businesses into something great.

Since 1988, Louise has worked with over 3000 businesses including many from the top 150 Australian Companies. Her work is varied and includes the design, customisation and delivery of business management and people management modules, competency-based alignment and nationally recognised qualifications.

Her focus is in tracking KPIs via measurable standards and strategies in sales and service, visual merchandising, store branding/identity and marketing, product width and depth, business planning and people management issues.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Target Training has national accreditation with the Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board, offering a combination of nationally recognised and customised business development programs. Louise has created a system of “easy learning” which produces the education, strategies, and momentum for measurable and lasting business development, growth and change.

Louise has worked with companies like Caltex Australia, Sigma/Amcal Pharmacies, Mirvac, Rezmed, Coles Myer and Queensland Investment Corporation. As the author of many retail and frontline management publications and an award-winning speaker, Louise is regularly invited by multi-national companies to address business development and marketing issues. She has been keynote speaker on many occasions for retail group annual conferences and chamber of commerce forums.

Louise holds a Master of Education, a Graduate Certificate in SC Marketing, Diploma in Frontline Management, Diploma in Retail Management, Diploma in Training & Assessment Systems and Diploma in Strategic Management.

Kelly Furner, Training Admin

Kelly Furner, Training Administrator

Kelly has been working in the VET education sector since 2009. Starting her career with Target Training.
She worked for multiple RTOs over the years, gaining more knowledge and experience in different areas, moved to QLD and back to NSW, and made her way back to Target Training in March 2017 to join Louise and her team.

Her strengths in Student Administration are especially in the areas of VET compliances, student records management and quality recordkeeping practices.

Kelly holds a Certificate III in Business & Diploma of Management with further studies to come in the future.

VICTORIA HOWARD, Prgram Facilitator

Victoria Howard, Program Facilitator

Victoria has been a hands-on trainer for the past 18 years. After winning numerous awards for retail sales with Clinique cosmetics she moved into the training arena and has held roles from NSW Training Manager to Area Manager and Territory Trainer for companies such as Pharm-A-Care, Lancome, Sanctum, Jurlique and Nutrimetics.

For the past 3 years Victoria has specifically trained Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate IV in Business and various beauty industry courses.

Victoria has achieved her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104), Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management), Certificate III in Retail Supervision, Certificate in Small Business Management and various beauty industry qualifications.

Victoria is based in Sydney.

Gary Tremolada

Gary Tremolada, Program Facilitator

Gary commenced his retail career working for Venture stores back in the eighties when his focus was on small format store manager and floor manager responsibilities. As a result his strength as a hands-on manager was developed from the outset.

Some years later Gary moved into training and staff development roles within commercial environments such as the Australian Taxation Office, Telstra and Teletech International.

His real passion lies in the area of driving the KPI's of the business via sales training and setting of targets. Gary believes that a better, stronger, faster environment breeds innovation and therefore impacts on both the organisation's bottom line and the individual's performance goals.

Gary has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Frontline Management, Certificate III in Retail, Certificate III in Hospitality and currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce.

NICK MILLS, Program Facilitator

Nick Mills, Program Facilitator

Nick Mills is a dynamic learning development professional with many years experience in doing so. His specialist area is leadership experience at an operational level as he continually strives to help others be their best. Nick is a performance coach and sales training specialist.

Nick has worked with companies such as Avis / Budget and Thrifty car rentals, Hutchison Telecoms and Flexirent Capital. Nick has had first hand experience at driving e-learning projects for companies such as Harvey Norman.

Nick has a Master of Education, Diploma of Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Colleen Dyer

Sandy Taylor, Program Facilitator

Sandy has 20 years corporate experience in numerous roles including sales, call centre operations, customer strategy and planning and facilitation of sales programs.

She is passionate about coaching and mentoring others. For the past 4 years her work in the community sector has involved delivering employability skills training to jobseekers in a fun and interactive environment designed to help them push through barriers.

Her education degree has provided her with a solid understanding of adult learning principals. Sandy is based in Sydney.

Bill Harper, Program Facilitator

Bill has been in retail management for over 30 years, was a very successful franchisee at BP Blacktown for 8 years. Store manager for Coles & Franklins and has worked with other major retailers. He has been CEO for a non- profit organisation Australia wide and is now a very welcome addition to the training contingent with Target Training.

Bill has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Retail Management, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Certificate IV in Pastoral Care and a Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety. It is not just Bill?s experience and education, but his enthusiastic communication with students at all levels that make him an ideal and very sort after trainer.

Bill is based in Western Sydney but travels throughout NSW to train students.


Lawrence Gibbs – Program Facilitator

Lawrence worked in the corporate world for 25 years within the banking, finance and telecommunications sectors. Since 2007 Lawrence has been working in the adult education industry as a trainer, life coach and mentor. He has a strong background in instructional design and computer system programs. Lawrence’s makes an ideal trainer in areas of finance, business and management qualifications. The personal and professional support he provides his learners is second to none, with nurturing skills to assist the learner through the learning and change processes required.

Kim Growden, Program Facilitator

Kim is the Licensee of Hampshire Cider House, as well as a Trainer and Assessor for Target Training. Kim brings to the table 20 + years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry and is our expert having worked both overseas and locally. Opening and managing Hudson Coffee stores in Sydney to overseeing large hotels and staff in Adelaide. Kim is the licensee and General Manager of the Hampshire Cider House, the pinnacle centre of this unique program. Kim also specialises in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming. Her qualifications are:

Dianne Pepicelli, Program Facilitator

Dianne is a business owner, mentor, and Operations Manager for the Hampshire Cider House in Adelaide. She has achieved her:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality

Dianne comes with a wealth of experience in business and has operated and managed retail stores for one of Australia’s biggest and successful retailers and later her own retail store.  Dianne has won awards for her success in business and today still operates an online retail store – Harriett’s.  Dianne’s passion and commitment to the program and participants is breath taking.  Dianne also offers 1 on 1 life changing mentoring with participants which has been mentioned as being “one of the best parts of the course.”
